If you have trouble getting Java to run it may be because you accidently clicked on the Cancel button shown in the image below. There can be a long pause between the end of the progress bar and the start up of the WebDesiger. Remember the directions in the Getting Started document:

You may also have had trouble with your Internet connection which caused the download to abort. No matter, here is how you can resolve that problem: Re-install Java.
To re-install Java, open your Control Panel from the Start menu | Settings | Control Panel. Double-click on the Java icon (shown in the image below) or double-click on Java in the list display.

When you double-click on Java, the Java Control Panel shown below will open.
Click on View under Temporary Internet Files.

When you click on View, the Java Cache Viewer shown below will open.
Click on WebCAPIDesigner to highlight it. Then click on the 'X' button in the Viewer or press the Delete button on your PC. The application you highlighted will be deleted automatically with no other input from you.
Now you may close the above windows opened from the Control Panel and click on WebDesigner again in the Web CAPI System window.

When you click on WebDesigner in the Web CAPI System window, the Java download will begin again for the WebDesigner and the Downloading application window will appear. Once it has downloaded just follow the next steps in the Getting Started document.
